Symbolic collection of a lump of soil from the Cemetery of the Fallen in the Battle of Warsaw 1920
On June 25, 2020, we had a great honor and a special pleasure to host the Kościański Poviat Delegation headed by Starost Henryk Bartoszewski, who came to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Victory in Ossów to collect a lump of soil from the Cemetery of the Fallen in the Battle of Warsaw 1920. In the Battle of Warsaw of 1920 and the Polish-Bolshevik war, Poles from all parts of our homeland, including the inhabitants of Wielkopolska, fought and died. The urn with the collected soil will rest in the place of commemoration of the heroes of the struggle for the freedom of our homeland in the Kościan County. We would like to thank all the people and institutions involved in the organization of today's event, including: Fr.
