FALCON - Iron Run

Face the difficulties like a real soldier, test your physical endurance, experience the surprises lurking in the woods, on the route - that is, take part in a unique run ! iron run !, as part of the national celebration of the Polish Army Day.

On August 13 at 11:00 a.m., from the market square in Okuniewo, will set off for the second time FALCON - the Iron Run, organized by the Ministry of National Defense, the Central Military Sports Complex and the First Warsaw Armored Brigade with the support of the Wolomin District and the municipality of Halin.
Taking part in the run will test your endurance and overall physical and emotional fitness, especially since the competition route will include numerous obstacles: tanks, trucks, and a water obstacle. The organizers of the event also tried to provide special obstacles - surprises, completely shrouded in mystery ! ...
Participation in the run of 13 km to run amidst forests and in the vicinity of military units, will make you feel as if you were on the training ground. A special military character of the event will be added to the place of the end of the run, scheduled for Ossow, where the trail of the Battle of Warsaw 1920 runs. 

Each participant who takes part in the competition will receive a commemorative medal of the second edition of the "FALCON Iron Run", and for the most persistent , special awards will be waiting at the finish line.
Registration for the "FALCON Iron Run" is open from July 26, 2023, through the website www.wojsko-polskie.pl/cwzs. It is worth to hurry up with the decision to participate in the run, as the number of places cannot exceed 500 people. As an added bonus, participation in the run is free.

The race office on August 13 will be open as early as 8:00 a.m. From its resources, the office will put at the runners' disposal a checkroom tent and a depository, from which it will be possible to collect one's belongings at the finish line.
The starter's shot will be heard punctually at 11 a.m. The starting package of each runner will include a commemorative technical T-shirt and souvenirs. In addition, each competitor will receive a chip attached to the ankle of the leg, recording the individual time of overcoming the route. 
During the course of the run, which is scheduled for 2 hours of struggle, you can count on hydration points, and at the finish line on regenerative refreshments. The organizers also thought to provide bus transportation for athletes after the run in Ossow, to the starting point, where the awards ceremony is scheduled for 1:30 pm. However, departures taking athletes to the start of the route are scheduled for 1 pm and later, i.e. 2 pm and 3 pm.

It is worth noting that the ambassadors of the run, are:
Marcin Lewandowski - professional soldier of the Polish Army, athlete, specializing in middle-distance running, bronze medalist at the World Championships in Dohe, Qatar, multi-medalist at the European Championships and the Polish Championships.
Blazej and Aleksandra Brzezinski, also professional soldiers of the Polish Army, Polish Champions in marathon and cross-country running, Winners of the Military World Championship. World Champions in the marathon team.
