Commemorative banknotes on the anniversary of the Battle of Warsaw 1920

On June 26, 2020, Adam Lubiak - the Wołomin County Governor, Grzegorz Siwek - the Wołomin County Councilor and Jadwiga Tomasiewicz County Treasurer signed with the company Banknotes Parówka Sp. z o.o. agreement on the issue of commemorative banknotes on the anniversary of the Battle of Warsaw 1920. Wołomin County - the land of Norwid and "Miracle on the Vistula" will be the first local government in Poland to have its own commemorative banknote. The banknote has dimensions of 135 x 74 mm and its total mintage is 10,000 pieces. We will inform you about the available methods of purchasing banknotes in the near future.

The premiere of the "0 Euro" Commemorative Banknote with the graphics of the Battle of Warsaw 1920 will take place On August 15, 2020, during the celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Battle of Warsaw 1920, organized by the Wołomin County in Ossów on the field of annual reconstruction. The banknote will be available from 1 p.m. at specially prepared stands, including from the machine accepting 5 zlotys coins. During the purchase of the banknote as well as during the entire celebration, the rules of the sanitary regime in connection with covid-19 apply.

 

The premiere of the "0 Euro" Commemorative Banknote with the graphics of the Battle of Warsaw 1920 will take place
On August 15, 2020, during the celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Battle of Warsaw 1920, organized by the Wołomin County in Ossów on the field of annual reconstruction.
On the first day of issue of the banknote, it will be possible to purchase it in person. It is connected with the necessity to download a mobile ticket with the number of a given user in the virtual queue. This solution will enable people who want to buy a banknote not only to collect the ticket, but also to view their current position in the queue.
Banknotes will be sold on the first day of issue in the order of mobile ticket numbers and only to persons holding such a ticket.
To go to the mobile ticket download page, read the QR code next to it using the QR code reader application on your smartphone. You can also load the website at https://biletmobilny.esouvenir.pl in the browser. The connection to the system is secure and supports data encryption with an SSL certificate.

After going to the website servicing tickets, the user should see the "Download ticket" button, above which there is the logo of the banknote issuer and its name. Clicking on the button downloads the smartphone ticket and displays the next screen. They are located
it shows the current position in the queue, the ticket number and the "Leave the queue" button.
Users who have downloaded tickets and resign from buying a banknote are asked to leave the virtual queue in order to improve the service of other people.
Anyone who has collected a ticket and is waiting in the virtual queue will be notified by the system when it is their turn. In this way, the user does not have to waste valuable time waiting in the classic queue, while maintaining a preview of the current number of people waiting in front of him.

The mobile ticket service will be available on August 15, 2020.

August 22, 2020 (Saturday) from 9.00 in front of the building of the Wołomin County Office, ul. Prądzyńskiego 3, 05-200 Wołomin, the banknote will be distributed for the residents of the Wołomin County, who will not be able to purchase the banknote on August 15.
Internet sales are also planned for August 22, 2020.
