President Andrzej Duda inaugurated a new project commemorating the victorious Battle of Warsaw in 1920
President Andrzej Duda inaugurated on June 10, 2020 at the Józef Piłsudski Museum in Sulejówek a new project commemorating the victorious Battle of Warsaw in 1920 and all those who defended the freedom and sovereignty of the Republic of Poland during the Polish-Bolshevik war.
Mr. President presented the commemorative plaques "Memorial to the Battle of Warsaw 1920" to representatives of local governments and institutions from all voivodeships where sites related to the "Miracle on the Vistula" are located.
The ceremony was attended by Adam Lubiak - Wołomin Staroste. On behalf of the local governments of Radzymin and Wołomin Commune, the commemorative plaques were collected by the Chairman of the City Council in Wołomin, Marek Górski, and the Chairman of the City Council in Radzymin, Piotr Rembelski, together with the Deputy Mayor of Radzymin, Krzysztof Dobrzyniecki.
